The Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation is a Religious Congregation of Pontifical Right that was born in 1857, in Spain, Tortosa (Tarragona). The Founder is Saint Maria Rosa Molas y Vallvé. She recevied a vocation and a special grace which made her an "instrument of mercy and consolation" to lighten the physical and moral miseries of the most needy people of her time. cf Constitutions n.2
