JUNIORS MEETING
  Continuing with the series of formation topics for the juniors in the delegation, yesterday a new virtual meeting was held on the topic of the 2023 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals proposed by the United Nations. In a fraternal atmosphere, we have been able to share, accompanied by Sr. Maribel Sanchez and Sr. Carmen Villalon, the current challenges that as young religious implies saying yes to these proposed objectives. We could think that we were very far from achieving these objectives, nevertheless as the meeting unfolded; we felt that each one of us in one way or another tries to get involved and not be indifferent to what today is most necessary to respond to. I believe that our Charism allows us not to be afraid and to continue taking on these challenges, knowing that although we may not be able to do great things, our way of giving Consolation always leads us to do it from the art of the little things.  

INITIATION INTO RELIGIOUS LIFE
“Give thanks to the Lord for He is good, His love is everlasting” Ps. 118 During the morning of this very day, the 6th Sunday of Easter, we celebrated the Initiation into Religious life of Mary Oo (from Myanmar). We give thanks to God for His wondrous love, and much more for calling her to a new step in her life in the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation.  We do believe that St. Maria Rosa Molas is filled with joy for the “YES” of her daughter.  Our community is full of gratitude and thanksgiving for this moment, because in spite of so many difficulties that hit us as society every day, the love of God continues drawing people to his heart. May we always entrust our lives to the unconditional love that God has for each one of his children, allowing Him to guide our steps and move us to serve our brothers and sisters in fraternal love, keeping always in mind that we are ONE. Let us pray for our sister and thank you for sharing with us in this special occasion. May God bless you all!Novitiate of Asia 

QUEZON COMMUNITY
QUEZON COMMUNITY   We are living at the heart of Summer because April is the hottest month in the Philippines. However, this terrible heat cannot hinder from the joy of being together as a community. After two years waiting, the community of Quezon City is now complete with the arrival of the postulants: Marsiana Sao, Maria Delani Reseng from Indonesia; together with Mary Oo, Marie Celine, Elizabeth Sui and Elizabeth Cing from Myanmar. After a long time of lock down due to the covid- 19 pandemic, finally we have them in the community.  We give thanks to God for this wonderful gift, the gift of living in a multicultural community! Thanks be to God for their vocation. May God bless “these future” of the Congregation who will start a new step of life in a new land! May our Mother of Consolation and St. Maria Rosa Molas accompany and guide us always.

Come, for everything is now ready
        Come, for everything  is now ready!       “Come, for everything  is now ready”(LK 14, 17). It is the second project that we have planned in our Community this year. According to this project, we continue to motivate ourselves following the frameworks of General Chapter about the fraternity Banquet of Christ. So, we have three feasts here, the Last Supper of the Lord, the feast of our Lady of Consolation, most of all, the feast of St. Maria Rosa Molas and Christmas. Every feast, we decided to invite different people those who most disadvantaged. For this project we started with the Last Supper of the Lord. On this feast, we invited the people who are living in the river and participated in the first project of “Hitting two Birds in one stone” . And, through  this first project  we clean our environment at the same time the people involved can gain  some allowance.      Before the invited people got to the banquet, we have prepared the tables, chairs, flowers and some decorations for the feast. When they came to our house, they were very surprised because they didn’t know that we would prepare a banquet for them. They were very happy smiling when they saw the foods and the drinks on the table because they didn’t have any chances to have special meals in their lives. This is the time for them to have meals with Jesus Christ.  They were truly feeling at His Table, eating and drinking with Jesus in his Banquet.      This project was a special experience not only for them but also for us. We were joyful and happy to get to know them and  welcome them. Through this ,with the spirit of St. Maria Rosa Molas, we want to go out toward our neighbors. Along this experience we realize that we are just one of them at the table of the Lord,  invited to His iniciative.                                                                                                Cebu Community

The Days with Mª Teresa Gonzalez Justo
On the April 2-3, 2022, all the sisters in the Delegation of Asia have participated in the webinar about Venerable Maria Teresa Gonzalez Justo. We’re all grateful to have Sr. Soledad Obregon from the Province of Europe who has  knowledge and experience and guides us into the life and various virtues of Maria Teresa Gonzalez Justo. For many of us she just was remained a name and a sister of Consolation. Having this seminar it has been a great opportunity for all of us, especially for the young sisters in the Delegation of Asia to feel and touch into the life of a Servant of God. This seminar is an opportunity as well as  a challange which we are ought to question ourselves: Who is Maria Teresa Gonzalez Justo? What are the virtues that we can learn from her? How can we forgive and abandon our lives into the hands of God when we face pain, anxiety, and conflict in the middle of our lives? We might think it’s impossible to overcome, but the life of Maria Teresa Gonzlez Justo is an answer for us. We also can make it as she did it in her weaknesses! Thanks be to God for giving us a sister who is a model and guide for our lives. May her life continue touching and transforming us! Venerable Maria Teresa Gonzalez Justo, pray for us!

Jubilee Year
“Jesus Christ is the same YESTERDAY, TODAY and ALWAYS” In this very day February 11 2022, with the same sentiment of the Consolation Family, the sisters in the Delegation of Asia celebrated the opening of the Jubilee Year “Consolation going forth” under the patronage of Venerable Maria Teresa Gonzalet Justo. This remarkable event is preparing us for the celebration of 100th anniversary of foundation in Venezuela and the 50th anniversary of the arrival of our Congregation in Burkina Faso. It’s a wonderful experience for us to look back at the long history we have wrote… and the fruits that have grew from the seeds of Consolation in these beloved lands. May God through the prayer of Maria Teresa Gonzalet Justo, bless us and accompany us along this Jubilee Year.
