THE UNITED NATIONS CELEBRATION
On October 29, all the sisters, parents and 35 students in Proyekto Makopa (Philippines) celebrated the United Nations Day. It has been a great day in which we celebrate the beauty and diversity of all nations. The students are dressed in the costumes of the country they represent. All the costumes are made with the creativity and dedication of their parents. The celebration was enriched with the different talents that were performed by our lovely children, even there were some felt shy to be on stage. We are grateful to God for this opportunity to celebrate and share the joy with the parents and students, especially after more than two years of covid 19 pandemic which hinder us to have this kind of gathering.

CLOSING OF THE FRATERNAL VISIT TO THE DELEGATION OF ASIA
On September 11 Sr. Antonia Munuera Alemán our General Superior and Sr. Aránzazu Palau- General Secretary closed the Fraternal Visit to the Delegation of Asia after a week encountered and accompanying each community in the Delegation. With many emotions, desires and motivations, all the sisters gathered together once again to share our experiences, resonances and commitments. The visit of Mother General has brought us back to the traits of our Charism: HUMILITY, FERVENT CHARITY, HEART OF MERCY, SERVICE TO THE POOR, PROPHETIC AUDACITY, EXPERIENCE OF GOD.
These commitments are strengthened by encountering sincere sharing, collaboration and openness of the sisters during the meetings. This beautiful, natural presence remains as a joyful gesture until the final closing. We give thanks to God for our Charism in which we find ourselves belonging to a family of Consolation. Thank be to God for the seed of Consolation that has been planted in this giant continent and is growing.
St. Maria Rosa Molas has put the seed of the Gospel into our palms to incarnate our life through living the practice of all the traits and she is with us and accompanying us in our daily life.St. Maria Rosa Molas, pray for us!

FORMATION FOR JUNIOR SISTERS: CONFLICTS RESOLUTION
We, the junior sisters from the Delegation of Asia are having a formation program once every two months. We are guided and accompanied by Sr. Maribel Sánchez and Sr. Carmen in every session of our program. However, during August, it was special that our sisters invited a speaker, Sr. Hazel Suarez who is from the Congregation of Sisters of the Cenacle. She gave us the talk about CONFLICT RESOLUTION. We had the class with her on three Sundays of the month. The session was helpful, we had a good time to interact with her as well as express our feelings, thoughts and the realities that we are facing in our respective communities. Conflict is the invitation as an opportunity to grow, not to flight from it but to fight with it; solve our problems, learn and grow through our uncomfortable zone. It helps to grow the relationship among us, the most remarkable affirmation is that we need each other to help and support us. It is not individualism, it is a family, and community nurture together in the hands of God. We, juniors are very grateful for Sr. Hazel for her knowledge and experiences. And a special thanks to the Sr. Carmen and Sr. Maribel Sánchez for opening a way that helps us to see the beauty of our vocation, encouraging us to continue our formation and lifestyle. Thanks to all!

FORMATION ON SECRETARIAT AND THE LAUNCHING OF CODE OF ETHICS
“Be ready, dress for service, and keep your lamp burning.”
(Lk12, 35)
Remaining vigilant and being prepared for service is the highlight attitude of the bible passage today. And with this desire to prepare ourselves to offer a better service to our brothers and sisters the government of the Delegation of Asia on Saturday, August 6 took the advantage of the zoom platform to hold a meeting about the practical notes for local secretaries and the following day on Sunday, August 7 held the launching of the Code of Ethics. The indispensable of these practical topics in spreading the Charism as our mission and service motivated all of us.
The sacred responsibility of the secretaries in each community requires each person to be well informed and prepared even though there will always be skills only can learn by experience. However, in the attitude of willingness in learning, we all enjoyed the opportunity to get to know ways and how to carry out the work of a secretary.
With the same or even more willingness and enthusiasm for us, we participated in the launching of the Code of Ethics facilitated by Fr. James McTavish, FMVD who is not only a priest from Verbum Dei Society but also a specialist in morality. He had a short and concrete presentation that gave us an overview and focuses on this new legislation which is the fruit of the hard-working process of the Congregation. This Code of Ethics now is in our hands and it became our compass and responsibility to make it realize in our doing and being as Consolation to the world.

THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR
According to the latest order of the Government of the Philippines that allowed in-person classes for all levels, we’re able to reopen the school. July 25, 2022, was a great day for all the sisters, teachers and parents in DREAMLAND (Cebu) and PROYEKTO MAKOPA (Quezon City). On a day we welcomed all our students back to school after two long years waited. What a great reality in which we could continue the mission of education in this post-pandemic time.
It’s a good involvement for all of us to bring again the traditional way of learning to our dearest students, however, it’s also taken us a lot of time to discern and prepare. There is numerous protocol that must be complied with for the safety of everyone, especially our little students.
We all know well how children would behave on their first day of school. It’s a great pleasure to contemplate them. There’s joy, excitement, sadness and even upset… all are mixing. All of the parents were grateful to bring their kids back to class, so they could also get back to work.
Most of our students come from Urban areas where their living conditions are insubstantial, and they need Consolation. We are called to continue the mission of Consolation among them, the most disadvantaged. We commit ourselves to partake and lead them to a brighter future with our great effort and love.
