A Blessed day and Happy Feast Day to all of you!
A Blessed day and Happy Feast Day to all of you!
Today is a special and meaningful day for us, one of the significance of our life being as an instrument of Mercy and Consolation. For this reason, we are having the chance to embrace our mission as daughters of the church and to express our profound gratitude to our Lord. At the same time, our community of Yangon would like to share about our summer class program with 20 children who live near our house. It started on March 13, this year the free class. We divided three groups namely: Grade I, Grade II and Grade III. We are teaching them step by step at each level. We are having the class with the children from Monday to Friday and it will end up until the last day of May. To start something and move from our place is not easy because of various situations. However, we started a new thing, a simple service to collaborate in the field of Education in our area. We really believe that the Almighty God is giving us graces to help the children and using us as an instrument for this field. We are very grateful for this service. May God continue to bless our mission and as well the sisters and grant us strength to move forward to create a new way and a new facet of mission in our place. Have a blessed day to all!

INITIATION TO RELIGIOUS LIFE AND FIRST RELIGIOUS PROFESSION
January 6th, 2023 was a great joy for us as we were approaching the Feast of the Epiphany of Jesus. Our joys were multiplied by welcoming Marie Celine, Elizabeth Cing, and Elizabeth Sui Sui from Myanmar to a new stage of formation as novices.  We give thanks to God for the courage and perseverance that He has put into their hands to be able to take a new step in their lives.  On the following day, we join with all the sisters in the delegation, especially the community of the Novitiate of Asia, benefactors, and religious friends from different congregations in celebrating the First Religious Profession of Cecilia Trần Ánh Uyên Thi from Vietnam with a simple and meaningful Eucharistic celebration. The mass was celebrated in two languages English and Vietnamese and was uploaded on the YouTube channel of the community so that Sr. Uyên Thi’s family could be able to watch it. We are deeply grateful to God for the fruits of consecration that he has given to us for the future of the Congregation especially here in Asia. May God through the intercession of St. Maria Rosa Molas help them to remain faithful as instruments of mercy and Consolation with humility, simplicity, and charity!Novitiate of Asia- Quezon City, Philippines
VISITING THE SCHOLARSHIP STUDENTS IN KONTUM 29/12/2022

VISITING THE SCHOLARSHIP STUDENTS IN KONTUM
On December 16, our community superior, Tinh, postulant Thao, and I went to Kon Tum to spend the weekend visiting the students, those scholarship who belong to our project.  Because of the occasion of Christmas and New Year, we also wanted to see how their life is going on, how is their study doing. As usual, we started to travel from Sai Gon in the afternoon of that day and arrive the early morning the next day, so we could have more time to meet them. But this time they had some activities at their school so they couldn’t go home to see us on Saturday like other times. But instead, some of us joined the funeral mass of a girl 3-year-old with cancer in the village and some visited the houses around the Parish and play with the small children of the area.      The meeting with the students was moved to Sunday, December 18; at 8h30 am they started to come from different villages. Because during these days the temperature of Kon Tum is low we decided to meet them a little bit late. Some of the students couldn’t attend because they had to do their duty at school. After gathering them we started the meeting by getting to know one another with a game of introducing names, and grades…then sharing about their school and study. How is their daily activity in school? What do they like or it is a challenge? Representative of each grade and some from grade 12 have shared their experiences. We, the sisters also shared and encouraged them in their study. After that, we gave them a medal of the Pope cross as a gift and shared some sweets before we say goodbye and sending home because in the afternoon we needed to go back to Sai Gon and they had to come back to their school. All these experiences and opportunities we give thanks to God, who made these happen and let us be part of Him.Community of Vietnam
ALREADY IN INDONESIA 08/12/2022
ALREADY IN INDONESIA
ALREADY IN INDONESIA
November 6, Sunday, the time almost evening, Sr. Jennylyn Magtaka arrived at the airport of Jakarta on a long trip from Spain. She could not fly immediately to the next destination because it was late at night. The first experience in Indonesia was a little different than what we expected for the situation, but passed one night, and could sleep a few hours because of the different time zone from Spain. On November 7, Monday, she continued traveling from Jakarta to Yogyakarta city, arriving at 5:00 pm. Sr. Lucia Lu Lu went with a teacher, Ms. Rosendi, and her parents to the airport to pick her up. The weather was very rainy and some parts of the road were flooded so the father of the teacher drove slowly and carefully. We left the airport at 5:15 p.m. then we arrived in the center of Yogyakarta at 8:20 p.m. We took dinner in a traditional restaurant together with them then at 9:00 p.m. we arrived well at the convent of SCMM (Sisters of Charity of Mother of Mercy Congregation) which is now where we are living. After one week, Sr. Jenny started an intensive course for the Indonesian Language at the Language Institute of Sanata Dharma University where also Sr. Lucia Lu Lu studies. We start the class from Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. -12:00 noon and 1:00 – 2:30 p.m.      We wish for her new mission in Indonesia that by the grace of God, she will be one of God’s instruments of Mercy and Consolation. Even though the situation has to be newly adjusted to language, tradition, culture, weather, food, and with a new community in the new mission. With all our sisters, we united in prayer and accompanied each other to fulfill our new mission in the community of Ende.

ABC ENGLISH EDUCATION CENTER
Mingalarbar! Hello! We send our heartfelt greetings to all the sisters from theland of Myanmar. Being a sister in this land, many tasks are a demand to work. Continually, the word of God is echoing from the bottom of our hearts, “Console, console my people” says your God.” Since the beginning, God has put the seeds of Consolation in each one of us; it is our deep Joy and a special Gift to share with the people. But what is specifically that seed in this land right now?  Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we stepped on a new path to reach out, and console our brothers and sisters by opening an English Education Center for children. The name of our center is ABC English Education Center.  Through the grace of God, we opened it on our Charism Day- November 14, 2022. We started to have an English class with 15 children and most of them are our neighbors. All of them are non-Catholic and come from a Buddhist atmosphere. Every day, we are encountering them as well as their parents. We feel it is also a kind of spreading the good news of Jesus through our lives.           It is a milestone, and significant to have a closer relationship with them spreading our charism through education service. Graces upon Graces, even if there are difficulties, we could open our English Center. This new mission is a precious gift from God. We thank God for this, for this new path to be with the children and their parents. We continue to ask the graces to strengthen this new mission, to reach out more, and to touch their lives through our education service. Thanks, all sisters for praying and encouraging us for this new mission.
