On the solemnity of St. Joseph, the sisters, teachers, and parents celebrated the Recognition Day for 31 students in Proyekto Makopa. We were able to restart the face-to-face classes after two years of the pandemic, it was a great blessing from the Lord. To reach this day, we have experienced and overcome numerous challenges and blessings at the same time. 

          The school year 2022- 2023 started on July 2022 when the government in the Philippines still favoured online and presential classes at the same time. Despite the situation, the Proyekto Makopa maintained 100% of the class in person, for the reason that our students come from urban areas, it’s not convivence for them to acquire a gadget for the online class due to financial conditions, and their parents need to go to work for daily living.

          After nine months of study in Proyekto Makopa, all the children have made a massive change in their knowledge and behaviours, which their parents are happy with and grateful for. We too, give thanks to the Lord for sending us help from different people, especially the NGO- Delwende, so the Proyekto Makopa was able to continue the mission of education to underprivileged children.
