The seeds of consolation who starting to grow through the dedication of the first sisters who arrived here, sr. Maria Jose Crespo, sr. Hyanra Kim Cristina and sr. Eun Yeong Kim Anna have been changed into a growing tree which branches are full of life. These years have beard fruit and now we have six juniors as the same day three novices from Myanmar made the first profession, one novice, three postulants and eight aspirants. FIRST PROFESSION OF FIVE NOVICES IN ASIA´S DELEGATION
The Lord is risen, it is the good news of Easter. This is a message of encouragement and consolation for all those who follow the footsteps of the living God. As today, May 08, 2020; the community of the Novitiate of Asia gathered to celebrate the mystery of Christ’s love that even in this difficult time, our Congregation is filled with joy and gratitude to God who calls, consecrates and sends our Sisters:Lucia, Margaret, Maria, Christina and Maria who want to confirm the commitment of their Baptism and to respond in front of the Christian community to the call of God in their lives to His work of salvation, “for the Glory of God and the good of our neighbors” in the Congregation of Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation. We celebrate also the 43th year Anniversary of the beatification of St. Maria Rosa Molas, the profession of these new five daughters express eloquently that her spirit will continue living here and now.

BE NEAR THEM, GIVE THEM SOMETHING TO EAT
BE NEAR THEM, GIVE THEM SOMETHING TO EAT
“…the Lord sought closeness to the people, and tried to form that hearts of the pastors to be near the people of God in order to serve them. …Jesus answers, to put them to the test, “You give them something to eat” (see v. 13). And this is what Jesus says today to all pastors: “You give them something to eat”. “They are anguished? You give them consolation. They are lost? You give them a way out. They made mistakes? You give them help to solve the problems. You give them, you give them…”. And the poor apostle feels that he has to give, give, give… But from whom does he receive? Jesus teaches us: from the same One from whom Jesus receives. After this event, He bids farewell to the apostles and goes to pray: to the Father, to prayer.” (Homily of Pope Francis, 24 April 2020) In this time of coronavirus pandemic crisis there are many of our brothers and sisters who are suffering because a shortage of food. The confinement doesn’t allow them to work and in consequence they cannot afford food to take care of their families. The Philippines it is not an exception and the communities of Manila and Cebu have try to be close to the suffering of our brothers and sisters and even knowing that it is a very small sign we try to “give them something to eat”, our desire it is to feel their anguishes, their cry and share with them the consolation we received from God. Two communities of the Philippines shared with the families of the children who participate in Makopa project and Dreamland project a basket of food and some hygiene products. This is possible thankyou to benefactors and DELWENDE. The process of preparation of the goods, making shopping, asking to the manager of the supermarket for an especial permission to be allowed to by big quantities, putting the goods in the bags remembering the names and faces of our children whom we miss so much… this process put us in the path of the servant, learning from Jesus to give, give and give… because they, the poor are his favourites, because he call us to be near them. We hope this pandemic ends as soon as possible and we can all work together to build a better world for all.
