Intensive English Course
Intensive English Course
Our Community of Cebu accepted the propose of Project Bernabe to welcome two volunteers to collaborate in our project of Dreamland. We accepted with great hope and organized the event in the best possible way. Two volunteers, Irene Coll Carreras, English teacher in the School of Ciudadela and Larua Lopez Pitach, English teacher in Burriana’s Scholl arrived our community in Cebu on July 5th. Two of them excellent teachers and very good people.  Both adapted quickly to our weather, food, atmosphere… with joy and didn’t made problem of anything. They were available to the maximum. On July 6th, they started their work. In the morning, they work with Pre-school children and in the afternoon started an intensive English course for children’s mothers. Irene and Laura spared not effort and put their creativity to the service of children and their mothers with success. Mothers come with the aim of improving their level of English. The attendance to classes depended on the family circumstances of each one but until the end there was a faithful number of students who received their Diploma of attendance on 25th and the same day we have a final party where everybody expressed their satisfaction for what was accomplished. The effort of all was worth it. Thank you to Volunteering Consolation for this gift. Thank you to Irene and Laura for their testimony of vitality and selfless commitment. You’re invited for next year!
